Overview
What is being built, and by whom.
Chelsea Residences is a DAMAC development at Dubai Maritime City, described by DAMAC as over 1,400 sea-facing residences, built as a brand partnership with Chelsea Football Club. One-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, from AED 2,513,000.
The amenity list is where the partnership shows: a rooftop football pitch, a football simulation room, an athlete performance training centre, cryotherapy and halotherapy, and a blue sand beach. That is a strong proposition for a particular buyer and a narrow one for everyone else.
Handover needs care. DAMAC's own overview table gives June 2030 and the one-bedroom cards show Q2 2030, but the two-bedroom cards show Q4 2029, DAMAC's blog refers to a 'Tower C', and a portal lists a separate Chelsea Residences 2. That reads as more than one tower rather than a contradiction — but confirm which one you are buying.

Locality
What the area is genuinely like today.
Dubai Maritime City is a reclaimed peninsula between Port Rashid and Dubai Drydocks — a working maritime and commercial district rather than a residential one. We have not verified what everyday retail, schooling or healthcare operates on it today, and DAMAC's own table names no school.
The journey times are DAMAC's, published in the structured data on its project page. They put DIFC and Downtown at fifteen minutes, which is genuinely central for a waterfront address.
Dubai Maritime City is not one of the fifteen communities we hold a verified record for. It needs one before anyone leans on what is built there — and note that one portal URL uses 'Dubai Maritime City' for a different Emaar project at Rashid Yachts & Marina, so check which district any document actually names.

DAMAC Properties
Upper-mid-tier developer. We show no delivery statistics for DAMAC. The only figure it publishes is the 50,000-plus homes on its homepage, which is a company claim rather than an audited count, and it publishes no on-time record at all.
The OAC18 Perspective
One-bedroom cards say Q2 2030, two-bedroom cards say Q4 2029, and DAMAC's blog mentions a Tower C. Find out which tower you are buying.
- Who this suits
- Buyers who actively want the Chelsea amenity programme and a central waterfront address, with a four-year horizon.
- Who it does not
- Families who need a school nearby, anyone who wants an established residential district, and anyone who will need the widest possible pool of resale buyers.
What to consider
Get the tower name, its handover quarter and its milestone table in one document. Over 1,400 homes will reach the letting market here in a short window — model the first year against that, not against today's rents.
Escrow and buyer protection, explainedNext step
The payment plan comes from a person.
DAMAC Properties issues the schedule against a selected unit, so we cannot publish it — and any site that does is showing you something out of date. Tell us the bedrooms and the floors you have in mind and we will send the current plan, the live availability and our view on which units to avoid.
Payment schedules and availability are issued by the developer against a selected unit — an advisor sends the real figures within one business day.
